Management Team

Jim Moran, Owner, CEO and Treasurer
Jim has over 45 years of experience in plumbing and heating, and worked as a foreman, superintendent and estimator before founding MJ Moran Inc. in 1978. The licenses listed below are held in his name, though many of our managers have their own licenses and certifications as well.

Paul Donah, President and Director of Safety
Paul holds a Massachusetts Plumbing and Gasfitting license, Massachusetts pipefitter’s license, Connecticut Plumbing license, Massachusetts Sprinkler license; he is a Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician and a Connecticut Sheet Metal Contractor. He has been with MJ Moran Inc. for over thirty years.

Michael Mathers, Senior Vice President
Mike supervises the mechanical and site utility divisions for our company, and is a thirty year employee.  He holds a Massachusetts Plumbing license, Massachusetts pipefitter’s license, Massachusetts Hoisting license, and is a member of the American Welding Association.

Susan Flynn, Vice President of Finance
A twenty-six year employee, Sue has been with the company through its long growth process. She runs the office, and handles payables and receivables.

Alan Cote, Vice President and Plumbing Superintendent
Alan holds a Massachusetts Plumber’s license and Massachusetts pipefitter’s license. He has been with us for twenty-six years. 

Chad Moran, Vice President and Mechanical Piping Superintendent
Chad holds a Massachusetts pipefitter’s license, Massachusetts Hoisting license, Massachusetts Sprinkler licenseand a Massachusetts Construction Supervision license. He is a member of the American Welding Association, a Certified Welder, and has just received his Sheet Metal Master's license. Chad has been with us for twenty-six years. 

Jeff Bean handles the estimating and purchasing department for us.

Bob Roy is our in-house Mechanical Engineer and Designer with over 30 years experience.

Scott Zilinski
General Manager of our small business / residential division, Scott has over 20 years of experience in the design of solar, geothermal and HVAC systems.
